Full-Time Store Manager Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to prepare you for managing your own store successfully. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring top-notch customer service, managing schedules, mentoring team members, and implementing operational plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise team performance to deliver excellent customer service.
• Uphold company values and foster teamwork among employees.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain store presentation and product freshness.
• Participate in hiring and training store personnel.
• Develop weekly schedules and manage staffing levels.
• Set performance expectations and conduct evaluations.
• Ensure store profitability and compliance with company policies.
• Monitor local market trends and provide feedback to management.
• Ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
• Manage inventory and merchandising.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Effective communication and management abilities.
• Familiarity with budgeting and personnel management.
• Prior retail experience, preferably in a management role.

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
• Prior management experience is a plus.

Travel

Full-Time Store Manager Trainees may train at multiple locations and should be willing to travel as per divisional requirements.
