Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring our store is well-organized, stocked, and provides exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, cleaning, and collaborating with team members to deliver a positive shopping experience to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves and merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and friendly customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safely operate equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
- Understand and apply company policies and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Work well independently and in a team setting.
- Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent.
