Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including stocking merchandise, cashiering, and ensuring the store maintains a clean and organized appearance. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills in your role.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain clean store conditions, and neatly display merchandise.
  • Assist customers with shopping, communicate effectively with team members and store management.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
  • Participate in store inventory counts, adhere to cash policies, and comply with company procedures.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
  • Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling abilities.
  • Capability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail experience is a plus.
  • Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
