Job Description

We are looking for an Associate Medical Director, Medical Affairs in Oncology to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing life-changing medicines. In this role, you will support US Medical Affairs activities related to HER2+ target therapy in Gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma (GEA) and Biliary tract cancers (BTCs). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide medical insights, support market access, and ensure strategic initiatives are executed efficiently. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Oncology, expertise in clinical trial data analysis, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support US Medical Affairs activities related to HER2+ target therapy in Gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma (GEA) and Biliary tract cancers (BTCs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
  • Provide medical insights to inform brand strategy and support market access.
  • Review and approve responses to unsolicited medical information requests.
  • Support regional post-marketing studies and Medical Congress activities.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
  • Strong clinical or scientific background in Oncology.
  • Experience in clinical trial data analysis and working with marketed products.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team.
  • Proven track record of high performance and meeting deadlines.

Education and Licenses

  • Requires an advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD).

Travel

  • 20-30% domestic travel required.

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is $164,000-$246,000, with additional benefits including annual cash bonus, equity grants, and medical/dental/vision insurance.
