Medical Science Liaison

Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a talented Medical Science Liaison to join our global team dedicated to developing life-changing medicines for patients with serious diseases. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will be the primary scientific expert for our products in the therapeutic area of Sleep Medicine/Neuroscience, establishing and maintaining relationships with medical professionals and researchers. You will play a crucial role in integrating scientific expertise and knowledge to ensure compliant and successful communication and education about our products.

Responsibilities:

• Provide scientific exchange and communication of FDA approved and pipeline products.
• Establish and maintain scientific relationships with opinion leaders.
• Facilitate scientific development of pipeline compounds and support research efforts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Clinical Development teams.
• Attend and provide scientific support at medical conferences.
• Develop solutions to problems and coach team members.
• Manage cross-functional projects and maintain geographical responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Effective communication of scientific data to internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of geography and key opinion leaders.
• Understanding of federal and state regulatory requirements.
• Ability to build trust and relationships with opinion leaders.
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
• Advanced doctorate degree (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD or equivalent).
• 0-2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Preferably experience in Sleep Medicine, Neurology, or Psychiatry.

For US-based candidates, the salary range for this role is $152,000 - $228,000, with additional benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k retirement savings plan, and flexible paid vacation.
