Summary of Position

The Line Cook will be responsible for accurately and efficiently cooking a variety of food products such as meats, fish, and vegetables. Additionally, the role involves preparing food items before cooking, ensuring high-quality dishes are served, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen station.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables using various cooking equipment.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of all dishes served.
  • Follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen procedures.
  • Maintain adequate food levels at line stations for seamless service.
  • Keep the work station clean, sanitized, and well-organized.
  • Assist in food prep tasks during slow periods.
  • Contribute to kitchen closing procedures and cleanliness.
  • Attend meetings and provide input for continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as directed by Kitchen Manager or supervisor.
