Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide excellent customer service. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe operation of equipment and adherence to cleaning standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capability to work independently and in a team environment
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
