Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to uphold our high standards of service and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Act Competencies and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to reduce losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of maintaining cleanliness to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local regulations for alcohol sales if applicable.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to relevant knowledge.
