Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves and displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to enhance store performance.
- Participate in inventory management activities according to guidelines.
- Follow cash handling policies to ensure minimal losses.
- Adhere to company policies, safeguards documents and data confidentiality.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning duties and following company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask professionally.
- Meet local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- Equivalency of education and experience is acceptable.
