Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves and displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to enhance store performance.
  • Participate in inventory management activities according to guidelines.
  • Follow cash handling policies to ensure minimal losses.
  • Adhere to company policies, safeguards documents and data confidentiality.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
  • Capable of performing general cleaning duties and following company standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask professionally.
  • Meet local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail work experience is a plus.
  • Equivalency of education and experience is acceptable.
