Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Construction Cost Project Analyst to join our National Real Estate Services team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for managing construction costs on a national level, collaborating with divisional teams to evaluate construction bids. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, architecture, or engineering and possess a deep understanding of construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Work with Construction Managers to develop negotiation points with contractors.
• Provide pricing data and practices to divisions for consistent pricing structure.
• Analyze bids in detail and prepare reports for project award decisions.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative construction practices.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Construction Estimating.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction cost software.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and specifications.
