1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse plays a crucial role in ensuring products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores to meet the needs of our growing customer base. This position is part-time, with an average of fewer than 30 hours per week and a starting wage of $23.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and strategically load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide input for process improvements to optimize warehouse operations.
• Inspect products for quality and safety, acting independently within defined responsibilities.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to achieve budgeted goals and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and follow instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment and work in various temperatures.
