1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, sorting, organizing, loading, and relocating merchandise in the warehouse. You will play a key role in ensuring the warehouse's appearance standards, safety requirements, and inventory counts are maintained. This position requires attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and provide input for process improvements.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Inspect product quality and report any safety concerns or sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills for inventory processes.
• Capacity to operate powered industrial equipment safely.
