Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving and organizing merchandise, preparing orders for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and contributing to inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise, ensuring strategic preparation for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide input for process improvements and act independently within your area of responsibility.
• Work towards achieving budgeted goals and comply with company policies.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
