Data Center Operations Technician I

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Data Center Operations Technician I to join our team at Flexential. This role involves providing physical and Level II technical support to our customers while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, and PC troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve facility and customer issues promptly.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot technical problems using our ticketing system.
• Assist with local access and vendor escort.
• Perform installations and maintain cleanliness in the data center.
• Handle shipping/receiving tasks and badge access security.
• Collaborate with the Critical Infrastructure Manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Passion for excellent customer service.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft systems.
• Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• IT support experience preferred.
• Certifications such as Network+, Security+, CCNA, or MCP/MCSA are a plus.

Salary Range: $19.33 - $22.67 per hour.
